The day a small blonde personal trainer kicked my butt from one end of the gym to the other. She asked my three fitness goals, which I realized were roughly these:
Gain upper body strength.
Run a 5k.
And, y’know, if I lose some weight/look better...
Week 2, Day 4.
Monday, June 4 2012.
Exercised 4/7 days last week. Not bad.
1 for 2 so far this week.
5 minutes (1/4 a mile) on the crosstrainer thingie
47 minutes and 38 seconds (3.05miles) on treadmill, varying paces… (2.5-7mph)

Renewed Commitment, Day 1
Monday, May 28th 2012.
Dave got us memberships at the Rush Fitness center, and we dragged our butts down there after rehearsal for a bit. And by after rehearsal, I mean 10:00pm. And for a bit, I mean about an hour, hour and a half.
Here’s the damage for me:
1 mile on the elliptical (12:54)
1:17mi. on treadmill (19:02, varying paces)
0:75mi. on arc trainer (what the heck even is this...
OKAY.
Let’s try this again.
Because I want to run the Color Run in Charlotte on October 23rd, the Warrior Dash in SC on November 3rd, and someday, the Disney Princess Half-Marathon.
Also, I need to be able to wear a catsuit like:
